Dear parent, your teen will be receiving a green certificate of completion after s/he passes the Segment 1 class. Here are some important points to remember!

1. You MUST take the certificate of completion (green card) to the Secretary of State office to obtain your teen's white LEVEL 1 LICENSE. Do this as soon as possible after receiving the certificate of completion.

2. Your child CANNOT drive on the certificate of completion (green card).

3. DO NOT delay in getting your teen's white Level 1 license, this will make it difficult for s/he to complete the required amount of driving time. Your teen needs to have the Level 1 license for 6 months or 180 days 9 from the day it was issued) in order to take the road test.
