Major Driving School
offers the very finest in driver education instruction and has been approved by
the Michigan Department of Education. Our school is also licensed by the
Michigan Department of State, school license number P-00378. Checks can be made
payable to Major Driving School.
If you would like to
register, please fax or mail a completed contract, or submit an online contract.
Registrations will be taken on a "first come, first served" basis.
We offer monthly
classes in the
Burton/Flint
area,
Carman-Ainsworth,
and the
Swartz Creek area.
Classroom
Instruction
Students must have their
Level 1 License at least 3 months prior to the start date of the segment 2
class. Students are required to have a minimum of 6 hours of classroom
instruction. This will consist of 3 class sessions of 2 hours each. Any missed
classes will need to be made up
at the next Segment 2
class
within 30 days. All
materials for the class work will be provided at no extra charge.
Behind-the-Wheel Training
THERE WILL BE NO ROADWORK
DURING SEGMENT 2.
Certificate of
Completion
Once the student has
completed the class work and become certified by the instructor, he/she will
receive his or her SEGMENT 2 Driver Education Certificate of Completion.
This certifies that they have completed their mandatory Driver Education program
for SEGMENT 2 as required by law, for those under 18 years of age. The
SEGMENT 2 Driver Education Certificate of Completion must be taken to the
road test examiner and then the Secretary of State office as proof of completion
of Segment 2 in order to obtain a level 2 restricted license.
