Dear Parent,

It is the goal of Major Driving School to always have at least 2 students in the drivers training car at all times. However, due to special scheduling situations, it is sometimes necessary that a student drive by themselves with the instructor. Furthermore, if your child is the last one to be taken home after a training lesson, s/he may be the only student in the car from the time the previous student was dropped off. If your child is schedules for a private drive, s/he may have a relative or friend who is at least 15 accompany them. In light of recent legislation, written parent approval is now needed if a teenage student is to ride or drive as the only student in the drivers training vehicle.

For your information, ALL road instructors for Major Driving School are certified by the Michigan Department of State, have passed criminal background checks by the Michigan State Police, and have finger prints on file with the Michigan State Police.

Please initial, complete and sign this form and then bring it to class the first day.

If you do not give your permission, you may have to pick up your child at class. it may also prevent bringing your child home after a driving lesson.
